The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA) developed the project entitled: Long Time Follow-up Study of Knee Posterior Capsulotomy in

Patients with Minimal Knee Extension Deficit.

The 2-year Program included theoretical classes such as Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Seminars in Research as well as the practical development of the project under the supervision of Professor João Luiz Ellera Gomes, MD, PhD.

At the end of the Mastering, the thesis was presented in a formal lecture for a panel of members of the Post-Graduation department. The study results developed in that period was analysed and then submitted for publication in a scientific journal.
